HIGH P0WER RIFLE MATCH

High Power Match Results February 2008

High Power 50 rd. Match was held on the February 23rd. 2008. It was a fair turnout in that the weather was rainy.  We did shoot the first two stages before the rain started.  There were four participants and the winning score of 465 was fired  Dave Chili.  Congratulations Dave. Second Place; Juoin Carrasio. Third Place; Arthur Morgan while Rick Feyerstien placed forth.  Our match caller fired a 473 but he was not a contestant.

A Big Thank You to Gary Dalton and his crew for building the target frames, Aarne Langley and his crew for preparing the backstop area and installing the PVC on the range, Steve O’Rourke and his son, Clayton for providing and installing the target backing.  Ray Charest for coordinating the entire effort and providing the target numbers and Stephen Collings for his encouragement.  I will not forget Michael Williams our Webmaster and Chris Sommers our News letter.

Together, we as a club, accomplished something we wanted to do for a long time. Let’s give ourselves a hand for a job well done for our first 2008 High Power Match.   It is our intent to conduct a high power match on the third Saturday of each month. We welcome input from all big bore shooters.
